Transforming a two-room apartment located on the balcony of a typical early 20th-century gallery house into a functional space and giving it a new lease on life: a challenge for the Milanese design studio Moodular.
In the project, which restored the apartment to its original historical charm while meeting the needs of modern living, the bathroom was placed beyond the bedroom and a functional hallway with a dressing area and mezzanine was created before the sleeping area, which is more secluded and intimate.
The living room, welcoming and functional, houses a kitchenette with a dining table and a living space with a sofa bed for a guest.
A Flex 60 articulated lamp has been placed in this space above the round table.
To make evenings with friends even more enjoyable, a Fermaluce Metal with a curved extension has been installed above the sofa. An individual pendant light, with a 2XL braided cord and a beech wood end made in Italy, illuminates a hallway with a dressing room before the sleeping area.
The metal Fermaluce is the perfect lamp to illuminate the bathroom mirror. The satin bronze finish was chosen to create a point of contrast in a bathroom designed with natural tones and a textured look.
The bedroom was illuminated with two Flex 30 wall lamps, positioned towards the bedside tables in the room, shaping the dreams of the guests.
